Powerful quotes from our nation’s past. Quotes that reflect where we come from and raises an even more diametric question – are we about to repeat our past?
The first is from the Declaration of Independence on the night of July 4, 1776, when our Founding Fathers had enough of the King of England. If you have not read the Declaration of Independence, I suggest you take a moment and review it and substitute Brandon for the King of England and you’ll soon get the drift. The second is an excerpt from a letter from Thomas Jefferson to William Stephens Smith in 1787 talking about, off all things, anarchy and specific to the Boston Tea Party. What may be an even more important quote within the same letter is reference to continual “rebellion” against the government:
“Yet where does this anarchy exist? Where did it ever exist, except in the single instance of Massachusetts? And can history produce an instance of a rebellion so honourably conducted? I say nothing of it’s motives. They were founded in ignorance, not wickedness. God forbid we should ever be 20. years without such a rebellion. The people can not be all, and always, well informed.” Jefferson’s Letter
I think a current poll among the liberal media and current intelligencia would scoff at these references. Especially when you consider that the current January 6 Commission is seeking to expand the power to spy on the electorate…
If those that fought in 1776 were brought forward in time to now, what would be their reaction? Would they sit idly by and go ho-hum or start stacking communists like firewood?
The reality is that these buffoons work for us, not vice versa and it’s high time to take back this nation at all levels as governments are no longer serving the people. A political wrecking ball must come into full swing to replace communist and America Last politicians and remove them from office. Preferably via the ballot box and through a peaceful process. However, any elected official that supports shredding the Constitution via legislation, attempted legislation, or personal actions while in office must be viewed and called publicly the enemy that they are. These traitors must be removed.
Decide what part you can play. We cannot all hold office, but you can work for America First Candidates. You can attend school board, city council, emergency service districts, and county commissioners meetings and be attentive and vocal in those meetings. You can report un-American activities to the electorate to make people aware.
For my part, bringing exposure to political unknowns challenging the establishment will be one of my primary goals this year. There cannot be competition if alternatives are not known.
So pick your political weapon of choice and start swinging that wrecking ball. Your nation needs you.
